LI Cub Scouts Donate More Than 500 Books For Local Non-Profit

OCEANSIDE, NY — Cub Scouts from Oceanside Pack 230 are helping Hindi's Libraries collect children's books. Scouts and their families were asked to bring books for the non-profit at their pack night on Wed., Oct. 20. Led by Amy Hess, Assistant Den Leader and Membership Coordinator, and Cub Masters Michael Blackford and Jesse Mistero, the cub scouts donated more than 500 books. The books will get sent to organizations around the world for children and families in need. Service groups interested in hosting a book drive in their community can email: [email protected]
