I want to start another band. I also wouldn't mind finding like minded musicians to jam with. I would actually prefer to play with some people my own age (I'm in my late 30's)but I don't mind if you're younger than me and can be mature/keep it professional-take what we're doing seriously. Also I don't mind playing music with someone a little older than me, the main thing is you NOT BEING A CREEP because it seems like the creeps always troll these kinds of ads for women to creep on. This is about playing music not getting laid(so if you contacting me with those kind of intentions you can just forget it/not contact me)and I'm happily married with children so it's not happening. I play several instruments and my vocal range is contralto. I can read a some music, can play by ear, play/read tab and chords. I love so many genres of music and bands. I do a little songwriting and music writing as well. I play bass, guitar, mandolin, percussion /tambourine, melodica, washboard, piano, ukulele and spoons. I can play a little banjo, accordion, cello, harmonica, violin and autoharp. Some of my biggest musical and vocal influences are- Cub, Blink 182, Rasputina, Ani Difranco, Go Sailor, Green Day, Fleetwood Mac, The Carpenters, Veruca Salt, Tiger Trap, Patsy Cline, The Sugarcubes/Bjork, Dolly Parton, Harley Poe, The Gits, Carole King, Etta James, Bessie Smith, Billy Strings, Siouxsie and The Banshees, Jayke Orvis, Squinch Owl, Astrud Gilberto, Ramshackle Glory, 357 String Band, Hank Williams, Janis Joplin, Hole, Sleater-Kinney And Peaches.
