Description
Ultimate Staffing is seeking an experienced Building/Warehouse Assistant to support essential building maintenance and warehouse functions. As the Building & Warehouse Assistant, you will support the Facilities Manager with processing all incoming and outgoing mail, handle all shipping and receiving tasks, as well as general facilities maintenance.
This role is also responsible for ensuring inventory is processed, organized and stored as well as ensuring all orders a prepped and ready for delivery.
Required Qualifications:
• 1+ years experience working in warehouse setting
• 1+ years experience shipping and receiving bulk materials
• 1+ years experience with FedEx and UPS shipping software
• Must be detail-oriented with strong organizational and communication skills
• Should be organized and have the ability to prioritize, and pay attention to details
• Must be flexible, and have the ability to work under pressure and in a fast paced environment
• Should be able to lift up to 50lbs and be on your feet for a majority of the day
Preferred Qualifications:
• High School diploma (or equivalent)
• Valid California Driver’s License
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Office365)
• Proficiency with SalesForce CRM
Responsibilities:
• Assist with preparing and processing all outgoing orders for shipping
• Check in and stock items received in the warehouse
• Assist with monthly shipping and inventory reports
• Maintain inventory and supplies on daily basis and inform proper individuals when quantities are low
• Maintains security and guidelines for the warehouse and its contents
• Ability to maintain cleanliness and organization of the warehouse and facilities
• Arranges furniture for meetings and other events as needed
• Builds and maintains rapport with company staff
• All other duties as assigned by Facilities Manager
