Committed to getting healthier in 2022 or just tired of traditional weight loss programs? If so, we invite you to participate in an upcoming user research opportunity for a cutting-edge weight management program that uses a mobile app and virtual reality training. About the Research If qualified, you will be asked to participate in an in-person* interview, conducted at The Haven Co-working Center in Bend, with a trained interviewer to test the usability of a new digital technology. During the interview, you will be asked to complete specific tasks using an iPhone, Apple Watch, and Virtual Reality (VR) Headset. The interviewer will engage you in discussion about the tasks. The interview will last between 60-75 minutes and you will receive a $50 Amazon gift card for your participation. Who is Eligible? You are eligible to participate in the user research if you meet the following criteria: - Female, aged 25-55 - Has tried to lose weight in the past 18 months - Frustrated with poor results from past diets, nutritional resources, weight programs - Is interested in improving health and/or losing weight in the next 6 months - Owns an iPhone - Has a household income of $50,000 or greater Interested? Reply to this post to get more information and see if you are eligible to participate. *COVID Protocols for In-Person Interview: The interview will likely be held indoors at The Haven Coworking Space during the first week of November. If weather permits, the interview may be held outdoors in a patio setting. (The exact time and date will be determined between the participant and the interviewer.) Both the interviewer and the participant will be required to wear a mask and maintain a physical distance of 6' (2 meters) or more during the entire interview. The interviewer is fully vaccinated. If either the participant or the interviewer is ill with any symptoms of covid-19 or has been in contact with someone with covid-19 or suspected to have covid-19 in the last 10 days, the interview will be cancelled and no compensation will be provided to the participant.
