Local Underground Utility Contractor Water, Sewer, Storm drain, is looking to hire all positions Pipe Layer, Operators and Laborers Needed Immediately! Requirements Qualifications: · Previous construction experience required · Must be able to hand dig pits and/or trenches · Must be able to follow instructions. · Must be able to stoop, kneel, crouch, dig and reach. · Must be able to lift, carry and place heavy objects up to 50lbs. Responsibilities: Our Pipe Layer performs skilled journey-level work to install, troubleshoot, and maintain underground water/sewer and storm drains. Construct, install, and maintain piping systems, and equipment for underground water/sewer and storm drains. Verify specifications by performing quality assurance tests. Dig around underground utility pipelines with hand tools. Load and unload equipment and materials. Keep worksite clean and organized free from unnecessary hazards. Work as a part of a crew on job sites excavation operations. Assist as required in all manual labor aspects of the project as directed by the crew leader. Handle physically demanding construction duties. Must have knowledge of tie ins. Working interview and job walk required. Competent and knowledgeable pertaining to OSHA excavation requirements.
