Olga’s Closet is an online fabric retailer providing fabric and accessories to designers, small shops and home sewists worldwide. We are seeking a strong leader who will oversee the daily responsibilities of our warehouse team. This is a leadership role so the ideal candidate must have experience leading a department or team.Warehouse experience, inventory experience and knowledge of fabric and sewing is desirable but not required. We will train you in all aspects of the job. Responsibilities -Manage a warehouse team of 4-5 people, more as we continue to grow -Assign daily tasks to team members, ensure tasks are completed in a timely manner -Track and reorder warehouse supplies when needed -Maintain a clean and safe work environment -Process new inventory and perform daily audit checks -Communicate with Shipping Department, and report daily to Operations Manager Job Hours: 28-40 hours per week Days available: Monday-Friday, occasional weekends as necessary Pay: $16.00/hour, paid training, 90 day probationary period Start Date: November 1, 2021 Qualifications / Skills: -Strong leadership skills and experience managing a team is required -Strong communication, organization and planning skills -Strong time management skills, able to meet deadlines -Warehouse and inventory management experience desired but not required, training will be provided -Knowledge of fabric and sewing desired but not required, training will be provided -Attention to detail, accuracy and ability to identify areas that need improvement -Able to work in a fast paced working environment, able to quickly adapt to change Education / Experience: -Minimum of 1 year experience working in a team lead, supervisor or department manager position -Warehouse experience is desired but not required, training will be provided -Proficiency using Mac OS computers, office applications, and Excel/Google Sheets is required -Knowledge and experience using shipstation and/or other shipping software is preferred but not required -Must pass a drug screening and background check -High school diploma, GED, or equivalent is required Physical Requirements: -Able to work standing and walking for 6 to 8 hours per day -Able to climb stairs and ladders -Able to lift and carry 50 lbs from floor to waist -Able to wear Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) without restriction To apply: Please email me your resume, along with your availability.
