Description
The container ships started backing up in November of 2020. The main reason is the lack of dockworkers and truck drivers to unload and move the containers. The lack of dockworkers and truck drivers can be attributed to the COVID Pandemic effect on them, including training programs shut down by COVID. COVID getting out of control can be traced directly back to initial response from the 45 Administration, promising it would disappear in 2 weeks. Little was done by 45 to improve this situation in 2020, which has escalated and resulted in additional ships waiting to unload.
Being in the shipping industry for 35 years gives one a different perspective from the average poster using little facts to back up their opinion.
