Special needs budgie to forever home!

I have an older bird I had adopted at the pet store about 7 months ago. When I had walked into the pet store they said someone brought it a lot of young and older parakeets. The older ones were separated and while looking at them I could tell that one was hurt. He wasn't putting any kind of weight on one of his feet and climbing and walking funny, yet able to do it with more effort than a well budgie. I ended up going back the next day and repeating that the bird was sick and I would like to adopt it and take it to the vet. They ended up giving me him for free and I took him to the vet the next day (Definitely NOT free lol). They told me he had chest virus (Forgot what they said, but was given antibiotics...) but also told that he had testicular cancer. They at least are 90% sure. They said if he continued to limp even after full meds and weeks of healing it's most likely cancer. He still does it, but is lively! Bit of a ruffle of feathers because he has a hard time grooming. He's so beautiful and I just wanted him to have a home to live the rest of his life happily in. Sadly No matter which cage I put him in here someone picks on him... (I have a lot of budgies). I don't have a place for a whole other cage. He's free. AS long as you are taking him to giving him a happy life. They had no answer for how long he'd have. Honestly thought it be about a month... maybe 3, but he's a strong guy! I named him Gandalf! Love the guy, but I hope to find him a home where he will be taken well care of and cage set up for him to easily climb and get food and what not. He gets along with others, it just depends on the other bird. He also takes a while to get used to you! He is only recently letting me. I'm not sure how his life was, but again I would love to see him go to a good home! SERIOUS inquires only please!! Please don't adopt and then decide you don't want him and give or resell to someone else. I want someone who really wants to take care of him. Thank you!!
