Ferdie is needing a forever home. His family has circumstances that don't allow him to remain with them. He is almost 6 months, will be around 70 lbs full grown, has had all his shots, potty trained, crate trained, does great travelling. Does well on a leash and is doing well with obedience training. He is a social pup, enjoys people and other dogs. We are working with him on not chasing the kitties. He has come a long way in that area. He is not shedding at all right now but may have some cyclical shed. His coat is beautiful. Silky curly and deep red. He is more retriever in appearance and would be an amazing performance and companion pup. He would love hiking and camping with his owner or playing with the kids...and definitely has the genes to be a hunter and is at the perfect age to begin training! Homing fee applies. We want to make sure he is going to a good home. He is a wonderful dog.
