All Star Labor and Staffing is currently looking for a Production Supervisor for a food production company located in Eugene. Sunday – Thursday, 11:00 PM to 7:30 AM $22.50 PRIMARY PURPOSE - Summarize the primary purpose and objective of the position (why the job exists). The Production Lead is responsible for supporting the Operations Manager in overseeing all department labor and personnel aspects to ensure efficient and safe execution of departmental work orders. The Production Lead is required to meet all minimum qualifications and experience of a Prep Specialist II for 3 years exhibiting exceptional performance or must have at least 2 years of relevant production experience. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES - Briefly describe each major job function (those essential to achieving primary purpose). Use specific active verbs that describe what the incumbent does (e.g., “composes,” or “types” letters, rather than “prepares”), and indicate why the function is performed (e.g., composes letters to respond to customer inquiries). In addition, please identify the approximate % of time spent annually in performing each function. • Oversees personnel and ensures accurate processing, repackaging and manufacturing of products in accordance to written procedures, work orders, and production schedule • Completes work orders as assigned per the production schedule • Removes barriers and ensures resources are available for seamless workflow • Trains and develops team members and assists with training content development • Monitors team members performance and creates accountability; ensures breaks and lunches are facilitated • Follows all Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), Sanitation Standard Operating Procedures (SSOP), Work Instructions (WKI), Policies (POL) and safety procedures • Safely and efficiently operates production equipment (fillers, scales, pumps, blender, etc.) • Accurately completes required paperwork for work orders and certifications (Safe Quality Food (SQF), Quality Assurance International (QAI), Kosher, etc.) • Manages inventory levels in a manner that allows the department to operate using a just-in-time approach OTHER DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES - Describe each marginal function (not essential to achieving the primary purpose) in the same manner as requested in Section 2 above. • Serves as a backup to the Production Supervisor • Follows sustainable practices outlined by department leadership • Recycles and composts correctly in the appropriate containers • Communicates innovative ideas that increase efficiency, saves resources or lessens environmental impact • Embraces and participates in department Lean initiatives MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE A. Describe the minimum skills, knowledge, education, certifications, etc., and related job experience (yrs./months) that incumbent typically must have to perform the essential functions of the job acceptably. • High School Diploma or equivalent • 3 years of related experience in production • 2 years of forklift experience • Solid training and demonstrated leadership skills • Demonstrated ability to safely operate various pieces of equipment and tools • Intermediate computer skills to include Excel, Outlook and Material Requirement Planning (MRP) programs • Advanced analytical and trouble shooting skills • Track record demonstrating dependability and punctuality B.
