All Star Labor and Staffing is currently looking for a grounds maintenance for a metal manufacturing company in Springfield, Or 97477. Job Summary The Grounds Maintenance person performs regular and directed grounds and landscape maintenance by mowing lawns; trimming obstructing trees and shrubs, maintaining sidewalks, buildings and product storage bins utilizing proper tools and equipment. On the job training will be provided for all duties. Responsibilities and Duties • Good communication skills • Repairing storage bins for raw materials • Pressure washing outside of buildings • Maintaining trees and bushes to keep a safe and presentable building for guests and coworkers using weed whacker, tractor mower and trimmers • Cleaning and organizing shipping docks • Occasionally driving forklift to complete duties or assist other departments • Sweeping/maintaining storage areas inside buildings • Checking fire extinguishers and forklifts in departments • Keep accurate logs of preventative maintenance to machines used • Report to maintenance any necessary information if problems arise or if machines are not in good working order • Perform various other tasks when required Qualifications and Skills • Drug free workplace - Mandatory drug testing • High school diploma or GED equivalent. • Previous experience with driving a forklift • Previous experience in a manufacturing environment is a plus After 90 day temp-to-hire phase company does offer the following benefits; -Company sponsored health insurance (Health, Vision and Dental) -Paid holidays -Paid time off -401-k profit sharing If interested please fill out the online application at than call or text us to make a follow up appointment to finish application your application and get information to start work.
