You: wanting to learn and work hands on in the fields of carpentry electrical metalworking insulating wood finishing millwork doors and windows etc. Me: retired electrician, woodworker, and engineer Project: start with an old wheelchair high top van and convert it into a camper van. This includes installation of air conditioning, portable furnace, electrical, including solar power, lighting, circuit protection, electrical outlets, etc. there will also be a fair amount of woodworking, and some metal work involved as well. The vehicle will eventually be used once completed, to promote and raise awareness for civil rights and for promoting music for youth. Any and all skill levels welcome. You will learn as much or as little as you want to, as a detailed engineering perspective explanation will be available for each and every task. You will learn real life skills in the home maintenance and remodel, and automotive sectors This is a nuts and bolts project.
