Property Management Company is looking for an experienced handyman for our three commercial properties in Colorado (Denver, Aurora & Colorado Springs). This person is responsible for completing tasks that ensure all our properties meets all safety standards, site appearance standards and that all buildings, units, equipment and amenities are maintained in good working order. Job includes showing and preparing vacant units for new commercial and/or office tenants, maintaining common areas of all buildings, and occasionally responds to and completes tenant requests for maintenance. Loose trash pick-up and power washing the sidewalks as needed. Must demonstrate a professional, high-level of customer service at all times. Will oversee the work other vendors are doing on the properties and report to the property owners. Responsibilities and Duties OUR IDEAL CANDIDATE has verifiable work experience in a Commercial or Residential Maintenance or Facilities Maintenance role. Minimum Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required: Has the ability to be on-call. Must be available flexibly, as needed, including the occasional emergency call on nights or weekends. Has basic computer skills (email and internet). Ability and skills to perform maintenance in any or all of the following areas: Electrical, plumbing, appliance repair, carpentry, painting, asphalt/cement repairs, roofing, HVAC repair. Excellent customer service skills. Open vacant units to show potential tenants, and do possession turnovers. Identify and report the need for major repairs to the Management Company. Good interpersonal skills and the ability to interact effectively with persons of diverse social, cultural and ethnic backgrounds is a must. Clean & Professional appearance at all times. Must be reliable, punctual, and professional in demeanor.
