Essential Functions: • Perform routine assembly operations following written work instructions and /or specification sheets • May use various machines and hand tools to accomplish assigned task • Periodically check products per company quality standards to ensure quality and uniform completion • Report and/or resolve any defective product and/or materials to department supervisor • Complete work within acceptable time standard • Follow work instructions and priorities as established by department supervisor • Maintains the work area and equipment in a clean and orderly condition • Follow prescribed safety guidelines and regulations • Completes tasks as directed by manufacturing schedules with minimum supervision • Perform all other reasonably related duties as assigned Required Skills/ Abilities: • Ability to follow instructions and to learn the production process • Ability in mathematics, reading and writing • Organizational skills and attention to detail • Time management skills Physical Demands • Manual dexterity in order to assemble products or machines as directed • Excellent hand-eye coordination • Regularly lift/ move up to 10 lbs and frequently lift/ move up to 25 lbs • Frequently required to reach with hands and arms Education and Experience: High School degree or equivalent desired.
