Carry out written and verbal instructions and interface well with all level of employees. Essential Functions: • Work closely with the COO to determine priority, scope, timelines, budget of each project and project prioritization and implementation • Implement, perform and document routine and preventative maintenance schedule and procedures on equipment • Perform general facility maintenance, handyman work and repair, ie painting, plumbing and light electrical • Support production efficiency • Understand and follow all federal, state, local, OHSA and environmental regulations • Safely operate company high lift equipment • Maintain interior, exterior and roof of the building • Follow work priorities as established by supervisor • Responsible for compliance to company quality standards and for the completion of work within acceptable time standards • Maintain the work area and equipment in a clean and orderly condition and follow prescribed safety regulations • Maintain appropriate paperwork and records • Perform all other reasonably related duties as assigned Competencies: • Communication proficiency with co-workers and supervisor • Organizational skills with attention to details and thoroughness • Technical / Mechanical Capacity • Initiative Physical Demands While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk and hear. This position is very active and requires standing, walking, bending, kneeling, stooping, crouching, crawling, and climbing all day. The employee must frequently lift and /or move items up to 70 pounds and use of hands to finger, handle or feel objects, tools or controls. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and the ability to adjust focus. Education and Experience: High School degree or equivalent required. Ability to read and write English, follow verbal instructions and use simple math.
