Job Description We are seeking live-in ranch help that can clean stalls, move and care for horses, stock feed, load product for feed store customers, all kinds of horse care and ranch work. Other skills a plus. We provided housing in a newly remodeled 4-bedroom 2 bath house. Each bedroom has a locking door. Also complete with, food, laundry facility, large deck, sauna, BBQ and firepit, computer, highspeed unlimited internet, sling, Netflix, all utilities, dishwasher microwave. Overlooks the Mat-Su Valley with no neighbors in sight, just true Alaskan wilderness. NOTE: this is a shared housing facility. Alaska Horse Ranch is an all-around equestrian facility, offering lessons in both English and western disciplines, trail rides in Alaskan wilderness, horse training and boarding, and a daily operating feed store. Duties to include: • Daily farm chores, early in the morning and late in the evening • Stall cleaning • Help with horses • Moving and stocking feed • Fixing fences • General animal husbandry • Watering and feeding • etc. Job requirements: • This is a permanent year-round position at mile 53 of the Parks Highway • Must be 18 years or older • Must arrive to work on time • No excessive facial piercings or inappropriate visible tattoos, or piercings must be removed for work. • A can-do attitude • Animal oriented mindset • Not afraid of getting dirty while having fun • Must be able to lift at least 60 lbs • Must be able to dress appropriately for ALL weather types • Experience with horses and livestock is preferred *Covid vaccination required *Must be able to pass a federal background check
