Highway Materials, Inc. is looking for an experienced Truck Mechanic. ESSENTIAL DUTIES: Perform tires, brakes, pm services. Perform suspension, drive line and electrical repairs. Perform major component repairs and/or overhauls. Diagnose vehicle problems based on driver’s complaints and inspection. Communicate with Management to obtain needed parts. Document all work performed and recommended on the repair order. Road test vehicles. CDL license required for road tests. Works in a team environment by assisting other technicians in major repairs. EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE 1 year of previous heavy-duty truck industry experience required. Mechanical ability to diagnose and troubleshoot required. CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS A/C Certification preferred; valid driver’s license required-must meet company insurability standards; CDL Class A or B preferred. PA State inspection license preferred. All positions subject to drug screen and background screen.
