Hi, I’m not an actual music teacher but I know a decent amount of theory or as I like to call it “music language” $30 per hour and I’ll teach you what I know. No, I’m not going to teach you songs. I’m going to show you how music works. I’ll show you what chords go in a progression and WHY they are in that progression. There are no secrets to “unlock” just simple concepts to acknowledge and understand. I know what you are thinking…this will make my playing suck or sound dry. I guarantee it won’t. Your style will always be your own. Once you learn the theory you will be able to communicate YOUR style. ALL rockstars know theory, if they say they don’t they are lying. From Ledbelly to Hendrix to Clapton with a brief stop at Metallica on the way back you gotta know the rules to break them. Break the “rocker rule” and learn theory. Be smart be a rebel.
