Job Title: Warehouse Lead Reports To: Warehouse Manager Pay Range $18-$22 Shift I Tuesday - Saturday 8:00AM - 4:30PM 1 Position Available Shift II Tuesday - Saturda 4:30PM - 12:30AM 2 Positions Available Summary As a Warehouse Lead, you are great at managing people and enjoy working with a team to make sure orders are fulfilled in an efficient, timely manner. You also love the challenge of maximizing efficiencies and improving processes and excel at problem solving in a fast-paced environment. Most importantly, your innate drive means you thrive in an independent environment with little to no supervision and know to provide status reports even before they’re asked for. Responsibilities • Manage a team of 2-5 part-time/temporary workers. • Transload and warehouse handling for varied customers. Package sizes will vary from small to 60+ lbs. • Train and work closely with employees to ensure quality of work. • Communicate status updates and shipment information with XPO Drayage and Los Angeles office. • Coordinate ocean container drops with XPO Drayage. • Direct truck drivers to workspace. • Ensure team is operating in a safe manner and wearing proper PPE. • Responsible for creation and management of all BOL’s. Requirements • High School Diploma or GED • 3+ years of warehouse or UPS/FedEx experience, experience with both preferred. • Ability to lift and move 60+ lbs consistently and stand for long hours. • Forklift Certified • Excellent customer service and communication skills. • Proven ability to work independently with little to no supervision. • Experience with Microsoft Excel Working for Whitecrow, Inc.
