Bassist Needed - Genre-Fluid Cover/Jam Band

Hi everyone, we’re looking for a bassist to be a part of our jam sessions every few weeks. We both have full time jobs and aren't looking to “make it big” as musicians, but we do consider ourselves proficient enough to have a great time playing various songs we like. We’re mostly playing covers for now, but will probably start making some originals over time. David (guitar, vocals): 33 years old, moved from NYC in 2020. I’ve been playing one instrument or another (mostly guitar) since I was 13. My journey started with a focus on playing Punk and 90s rock in a few bands, but took detours through Metal, DnB, RnB, and Neo-psychedelic rock. I can get into a wide variety of music, but a few artists that have been heavy in my rotation more recently are Unknown Mortal Orchestra, El Michels Affair, & Com Truise. You can really get a sample of my musical taste via my Spotify Profile if you’re so inclined. James (drums): 32 years old, moved from the SF Bay Area just over a year ago. I was in a college band back in the day, and we rocked our campus with originals, as well as covers of bands like Nirvana, Red Hot Chili Peppers, Radiohead, Aerosmith, Stone Temple Pilots, and Bon Jovi. Self-employed in a life coaching business for the last 5 years, and, for fun, have recently become a small-fry automotive YouTuber who drives fun cars and blabs about them. YOU (bass): You’re looking for a band to jam with every few weeks, generally on weekends. Open minded and into a variety of music. You’re comfortable enough with your instrument to jam and play along to chord progressions. *Bonus points* if you’re comfortable singing backup vocals (but no worries if you aren’t). You’re down to meet up at Yore Studios (we like the Sports Arena location) to rock out with us. We don’t care if you’re a guy or girl, older or younger. Our girlfriends simply request that if you are female, you’re not *too* attractive (they’re kidding... we think). Let us know if you’re interested in joining us!
