Join the Westchester/NYC chapter of the Bionutrient Food Association (BFA) to learn about soil health and growing nutrient dense produce! The next BFA meeting (not potluck) is on Saturday, September, 19, 1-3 pm at West Lane Farm, 55 West Lane, South Salem, NY. Please bring your own beverage or food. We're trying out a different day/time, as it gets dark earlier this time of year and also to give some folks who can't make it during the week a chance to join us. Please feel free to bring family and friends. (John has goats, chickens and, my favorite, "Pumba," the pig who loves to get scratched.) TOPIC: END OF SEASON TASKS Cover crops, soil amendments, soil tests (how, what, when, and why) We're excited to have our wonderful Doug DeCandia, to inspire us and lead the discussion! Doug started this Chapter about six years ago and is the reason many of you got connected to this group. Hope to see you there!
