Essential Duties & Responsibilities: *Receive incoming deliveries: confirm quantities, notify appropriate co-workers *Quick visual inspection to ensure completed parts meet company standards: check to see that hardware is installed, that *outside processing finishes meet customer expectations, etc. *Ensure completed parts are shipped timely, according to company policy and in compliance with customer POs *Package customer parts in a safe and efficient manner *Create shipping labels, including outgoing UPS labels *Coordinate pick-ups with couriers *Maintain accurate record of stock parts *Confirm and pull any stock parts to put toward new customer POs *Notify appropriate co-worker when over-run parts can be used toward another open job rather than going into stock *Manage outside processing when parts require chemfilm, plating, paint, etc. *Ensure all documentation related to outgoing shipments is accurate *Maintain shop supplies inventory and notify appropriate co-worker when items should be ordered - such as trash bags, paper towels, toilet paper, soap, etc. *Produce daily shipping reports *Other duties as assigned Knowledge Skills & Abilities: *Experience using an Access Database *Knowledge of Apple software a plus *Ability to prioritize workload *Demonstrate attention to detail and organizational skills *Demonstrate accuracy and thoroughness; look for ways to improve and promote quality *Be adaptable, professional and courteous *Work well individually and with others *Function effectively under limited supervision *Good communication skills for effective exchange of information *Ability to work overtime as scheduled Physical Requirements: *Ability to lift up to 50 lbs occasionally, 25 lbs frequently and 10 lbs regularly *Walking and standing for extended periods of time *Involves reaching with hands and arms, and limited crouching and balancing Experience: Minimum of 1 year shipping and receiving experience in a manufacturing environment
