The Land Management Supervisor works alongside their crew to achieve project success. You’ll be guiding them with daily oversight and weekly work schedules. This position is also responsible for managing company equipment including trucks, ATVs, boats and more. This is a physical job in outdoor Florida conditions. Applicants MUST be willing and able to work under adverse weather conditions and with potential exposure to potentially harmful wildlife. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: - Minimum 5 years managing crews - High school diploma or equivalent - Minimum age 21 years old for insurance purposes - Clean, valid Florida driver's for insurance purposes - Able to pass a law enforcement background check and drug screening - Able to communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing - Able to lift loads up to 50 pounds in rugged environments - Shift hours are 7 am - 3:30 pm, Monday through Friday PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS: - Florida Certifications as a Licensed Herbicide Applicator for Aquatic Pest Control and Natural Areas Weed Management, or - College Graduate in Environmental or Natural Sciences (Biology, Zoology, Botany) WE OFFER: - Competitive starting pay rate - Pay increase when you pass herbicide applicator license - Phone stipend - Paid holidays - Paid vacation/sick days - Medical and dental insurance - Eligible for annual bonuses - Equal Opportunity Employer and eVerify
