Join us for a Fall Harvest Dinner, and enjoy a delicious dinner in the comfort of your home, sourced from School Gardens and local growers In lieu of our in person Fall Gathering, we are hosting a take-home dinner for you, our community of School Gardens supporters. All proceeds help School Gardens purchase a new-to-us truck to help service our 20 (!) gardens. Reserve your School Gardens Fall Harvest Dinner box today, and pick it up at the Cowlitz County Event Center on Friday, November 12 between the hours of 5:30-7:00pm. Menu: Lamb or Vegetable Curry Hearty Kale Salad with hazelnuts and winter squashFresh artisan bread with herb butterLocal Dragonfly chocolatesRosemary Shortbread*This menu is approximate and will continue to change as we source local ingredients from our gardens and local farmers/producers. Your choice of local beer, wine or non-alcoholic apple cider are included with each box. Selections are available at pick-up and include Roland Wines red or white wine, local beer (multiple styles/varieties available), or Ryan's Fresh Apple Cider. Enjoy this gourmet dinner for two in the comfort of your own home, knowing that your purchase helps sustain School Gardens programming into the future so that every student in Longview and Kelso can continue to benefit from hands-on garden learning, fresh food and connection with nature and adults who care.
