Gender Equity and Compassionate Care in the LGBTQ Youth: Amanda Erikson BS- Education, from Kaleidoscope Youth Center in Columbus, Ohio will discuss how school nurses should approach youth who identify as LGBTQ, current legislation surrounding LGBTQ youth, and resources that school nurses can provide to LGBTQ youth. Continuing Education Program Provided by OASN and Joint Provided by COASN The Ohio Association of School Nurses is approved as a provider of nursing continuing professional development by the Ohio Nurses Association, an accredited approver by the American Nurses Credentialing Center’s Commission on Accreditation.
