Hobo Bag (with matching zipper pouch) Sewing class for beginner/intermediate.Will learn to use sewing machine, use pattern, sewing zipper. Hi I am Aunt B (Vernita) thank you for coming. I recently retired after 45 years in the corporate world and I am ready for my Second Act I have been blessed to do something I enjoy, thanks to my mother. Although, I am self-taught, I continue to take classes to keep learning new things, processes and techniques, it is never too late to learn something new. I want to inspire others to sew, to feel confident , to leave with a smile and be proud of what they have made and enjoy the process. I am looking forward to meeting you at the classes…. Hugs Aunt B HOBO BAG Materials Needed 1yd cotton fabric for outer 1 yd cotton fabric for lining 12 inch zipper Fabric Scissors Basic Sewing Kit (BSK) Measuring tape, seam gauge, seam ripper, pins, small scissors,marking pen/chalk,hand sewing needles All materials listed above are required for class. Material can be purchased at Joann Fabrics, Hobby Lobby or Walmart. The Basic Sewing Kit (BSK) can also be purchased when you register for class… I have Brother Sewing Machines available, but they are limited. .You can bring your own machine if you like, please bring the manual and extra needles.
