We will learn the basics of natural dye by using foraged fall foliage and ball pin hammers to permanently imprint the colors and shapes of leaves and flowers on cotton bandanas. Learn about mordants, natural pigment, let out some steam, and walk away with a beautiful fall-colors kerchief! This program runs two hours and is suitable for all ages. Katy is a multidisciplinary artist who focuses on using traditional craft techniques to create contemporary imagery. She likes to have fun creating iconography of everyday objects and scenes with fine craft skills.
