Guest lecture by Professor Alexander Kitroeff and musical accompaniment by Angelica Whaley (soloist) and the Orestis Koletsos Ensemble. Join us in commemorating the bicentennial of the Greek War of Independence with a guest lecture by Professor Alexander Kitroeff on "Greek America's Commemorations of 1821: The Role of the Greek Orthodox Archdiocese from 1922 to the Present". Accompanying the lecture will be a musical performance by the Orestis Koletsos Ensemble highlighting songs relating to the revolution, with Angelica Whaley as the soloist. Authentic Greek hors d'oeuvres, pastries, and refreshments will be provided.
