Guitarist, vocalist and multi-instrumentalist seeking punk band

Hello there, I am a 36yo musician who has been playing guitar for 25+ years and writing music since my teens. I just moved back here from Seattle, and then Los Angeles and am looking to get together a group of musicians to play some tunes and gig locally and then off to tour. Ideally, I’m looking for a grimy, melodic SF Bay Area type punk band along the lines of Jawbreaker, early Green Day (1989-1992ish) Quicksand, Fifteen, Snuggle, Leatherface, Jets to Brazil, Pinhead Gunpowder, RVIVR, Grimple, Early Rancid, and the whole late 80s pop-oriented punk scene. With a little grit to it. I have so many more influences than that, ranging from classical, to Elvis Costello, to other punk, metal, jazz, crust, blues, Motown etc. bands. I’m also a huge fan of old doo-wop and Motown hits, soul and funk and influences by the beat poets as well. I would describe my writing style as languid, poetic and definitely “of the streets”. Like Jim Carroll, had he fronted a poppier punk outfit. Anyways, I’m looking to form a 3-4 person group with musicians who can bring their own tone and style, contribute to songwriting, networking, artwork and anything else.
