Unveiling of "Lessons" a mural by Ayo Scott, part of Unframed presented by The Helis Foundation, a project of the Arts Council New Orleans. The Helis Foundation and Arts Council New Orleans continue their collaboration on downtown New Orleans’ growing mural project with the announcement of Unframed 3.0. As the third installment of Unframed presented by The Helis Foundation, a project of Arts Council New Orleans, local New Orleans artist Ayo Scott will unveil "Lessons" a tribute to both his daughter and his father, acclaimed artist John Scott and the lessons and legacies we leave behind. The Unframed unveiling programming will include music and spoken word performances by local artists: 5:30 - 5:45 pm DJ Christ Styles (pre show set) 6 - 6:15 pm Mural Unveiling + Pass it On 6:15 - 6:45 pm Mona Lisa Saloy, Louisiana Poet Laureate 6:45 - 7 pm _theSmoothcat & the 9th Life 7:00 - 7:20 pm Akilah Toney 7:20 - 8 pm Band with vocalist and poets 8 - 8:30 pm DJ Chris (post-show set)
