Join us for lunch! 11:30-12pm: Gather and networking 12-12:05pm: Kick off 12:05-12:20pm: lunch 12:20-1pm: Investment Outlook program 1-1:10pm: Q&A w/Cary Wasden 1:10pm: Conclude and networking Cary Wasden attended Brigham Young University and earned a BS in Zoology and Biochemistry as well as a master of public administration. He studied for his doctorate at The Ohio State University with a specialization in international finance and development. While completing his dissertation, JP Morgan engaged him as a consultant to advise on a series of IPOs in the area of his research. The consulting gig led to full-time employment as a research analyst where he was ranked top analyst in the world by Institutional Investor. Over the next twenty years he continued as a research analyst and founder of a two research firms winning recognition for his and his firm’s analytical prowess. He is credited by The Economist magazine with being the analyst who originally uncovered the Enron debacle. In addition to research, Cary teaches finance at Utah Valley University He publishes regular investment research and advises a fund based upon his research findings. Cary is married with six children and four grandchildren.
