One of South Florida’s largest and well respected landscape development companies is looking for a reliable, knowledgeable and driven Irrigation Account Manager to join the team. The Account Manager will oversee various commercial and residential properties, providing direction to multiple crews daily and dispatched to various work sites. Responsibilities include: • Acts as the liaison between the field operations and Division management. • Sells enhancement services in order to improve site conditions; coordinates with other branch employees to ensure that enhancement work is completed successfully, on budget and on time. • Responsible for requisition of materials for enhancement work and communicates those needs to management. • Must have experience with irrigation systems and knowledge of plant material. • Ideal candidate will possess excellent abilities to work in a fast-paced environment, solve problems, communicate, interact with and manage people, and plan and organize their work as well as that of their crews. • Must also be self motivated and possess the ability to work independently with little supervision. • Responsible for daily crew time sheets and job costing. • Must have computer and excellent communication skills. • Ability to identify plants by common name. • Ability to recognize and resolve any declining plant health, either by simple means or by bringing in experts Job Requirements Skills/Qualifications: • Minimum 5 years experience and detailed knowledge in the landscaping industry is a plus. • Must have a clean driving record and be available to travel statewide • Must have full computer literacy including effective email communication skills. • Job duties require physical outdoor work. • Excellent reading comprehension and writing skills. Must be able to read and interpret the scope of work in contracts and write weekly account reports to be distributed to customers and Division management.
