Let's unpack the art of self-compassion by exploring the idea of what it means to come home to ourselves when life brings us out to sea. In collaboration with The Domestic Violence Community Coalition of Hudson, all donation-based proceeds go to supporting Columbia Greene Domestic Violence. We welcome you to this gentle and cozy trauma-informed workshop that prioritizes agency and a nonjudgmental atmosphere for folks to take up space. Together, we’ll explore how to show up to our full humanity by meeting ourselves right where we are. We’ll unpack the art of self-compassion in a tangible and non-romanticized way by exploring the idea of what it means to come home to ourselves when life brings us out to sea. Victoria will usher folks through a series of meaningful and manageable practices that integrate into everyday life and deflate the need for mastery or perfection. The workshop will also revolve around self-reflective writing, a guided loving-kindness meditation, intuitive movement as play, human connection, and radically tending to our grief.
