Learn Leave No Trace Principles "The Leave No Trace Center for Outdoor Ethics provides proven, research-based solutions for the protection of the natural world. The organization accomplishes its mission by providing innovative education, skills and research to help people care for the outdoors. By working with the public and those managing public lands, the Leave No Trace Center for Outdoor Ethics focuses on educating people—instead of costly restoration programs or access restrictions—as the most effective and least resource-intensive solution to land protection." - www.lnt.org Haley Cottey is a Leave No Trace Master Educator and will be facilitating a fun and interactive Leave No Trace Awareness Workshop at AJ Vagabonds. We will play games, discuss Leave No Trace principles and make new friends. Walk ups are also welcome! The $5 fee is simply to pay for the materials and donate to the Leave No Trace Center. You will walk away with even more love and respect for outdoor spaces than you already had as well as a Leave No Trace awareness certificate and other educational materials that you can utilize yourself and share with your friends so we can all continue to enjoy these outdoor spaces. After the workshop, everyone is welcome to ExploreMore of Bishop Arts for some lunch drinks and shopping. Our mission is to get everyone outside inspiring them to Explore MORE.
