Change Happens' Annual Fall Luncheon is one of our premier fundraising events. You are invited to be a part of the celebration! Change Happens is one of the largest black-founded and black-led, community-based, social service organizations in the Greater Gulf Coast region. Change Happens was founded in 1989 and has a thirty-one-year history in working with vulnerable and disadvantaged populations. The mission of the organization is to “empower people to help themselves.” The organization is located in Harris County, Houston, Texas in the historic Third Ward. This year, we are hosting our annual luncheon as a hybrid event – in person and virtually – in an attempt to create the joy and fellowship of being together, yet making everyone feel safe and comfortable. We will come together to celebrate the lives we have impacted.
