Voter ID Rant: I've previously posted in Eugene. However a "woke coward" keeps flagging this post. So Im going to attempt to share my opinion elsewhere. Here is my rant as it appeared: This is an opinion and "rant" because you may not like my view point does not give you the right to flag and remove my post. Freedom of speech is "all speech" as long as it does not incite violence. Voter Identification Why do the left think that requiring an ID to vote is racist? What they are implying is ridiculous. Every person 18 an older knows how to obtain State approved Identification or is capable of asking someone how to obtain one. Unless of course they're implying that people of color don't have $44.50 for an Oregon issue. That's a racist statement right there. Inferring people of color are poor. However people can get ID payment assistant from numerous organizations, such as the Catholic charities or contacting Adult Services. Next reason for there claim could be that people of color lack reading comprehension and can't fill out a form. Again another racist statement from the left. So exactly why is having an ID racist? The left no longer want teachers teaching math or reading. They say that's?racist. Pre civil war the plantation owners overtly attempted to keep all people within there reach un-educated. That way they HAD to rely on the "owner" For the food and housing and direction. This sounds familiar. In the horrible times of slavery 1 out of every 10 people lynched was what they referred to as a "radical" These radicals where white conservatives. These are the people who ran the Underground railroad. Yes they were murdered along with the men and women they sought to liberate. Courageous people who shared the ideology of Abraham Lincoln.( a white conservative) believing then and today that ALL people are equal and are entitled to the pursuit of life and liberty. When the education system claims that the basic fundamental studies are racist they are preventing the full potential of ALL people. This will only ensure the inability to rise and succeed, preventing financial and personal freedom. A future of dependency on the government checkbook, housing, food stamps and the strangling rules that will keep great people confined. Who in there right mind thinks this is okay? We should be improving the opportunities of the future generation by wanting the best education possible. Actually expanding minds not constricting them. Sounds to me like a simple solution. If you can teach or won't teach then find a job you can do. Any person having completed the 8th grade should be able to fill out a simple form with name and address. If they can't then fire that teacher. If you believe in Less government reach, LIFE, LIBERTY &FREEDOM, you're a conservative. Conservatives are of EVERY culture, race, gender, religious preference. IF YOU FLAG MY FREEDOM OF SPEECH THEN YOUVE already been indoctrinated to worship at the WOKE alter. Maybe your a SOCIALIST or a RACIST, possibly A LAZY TEACHER
