Red Factor Canaries for Rehoming

Events

Eagle near Amity, Kuna ID

Description

Rehoming my red factor canary chicks and their parents. I have two bonded pairs, so I won’t separate them, they must go together. They are pictured last in the group of photos. Both pairs are banded and they are approximately 2-3 years old. The first pair both male and female are crested, with the female having a brown crest. The second pair the female is non-crested and the male is crested. The chicks are all un-banded and are between 5-8 months old. Almost all chicks are male, I might have a single female to rehome, but for the most part they are all male. I had these pairs flown in from Florida so they will have a different blood line than anything you’d find around here. Their colors range from a very deep red to a mixture of red and orange or dark orange. Their coloring is genetic so they don’t require any sort of color feeding, just a normal seed and fresh foods diet is all -as you would with any other canary- although I do choose to color feed mine occasionally. Most of the time they are not color fed though. The chicks are still young and haven’t all gone through their full molts yet so their colors are a mixture of reds and oranges but should change to a solid color as they get older. Red factors are hard to come by, and so beautiful in person and the males are all great at singing. Please text if interested in any of the chicks or the bonded pairs. Asking a rehoming fee of $150 per bird. Thank you.
