Between challenging physical work, insurance obstacles to be profitable, conflicting research on restorative materials and techniques, daily clinical life can be very stressful for the conscientious clinician. The purpose of this course is to break down the challenges of many of the biggest difficulties general dentists face in restorative dentistry. Come learn techniques to minimize failures, reduce stress, become more efficient and effective and gain confidence in believing that successful restorative and cosmetic dentistry is at your fingertips. Learning Objectives • Know the big challenges general dentists face in restorative and cosmetic dentistry • Learn techniques that minimize failures and reduce stress in restorative and cosmetic dentistry • Become more efficient and effective when solving problems in restorative and cosmetic dentistry  About the Speaker:   Aly Sergie, DDS BIO:  Dr. Aly Sergie maintains a small restorative practice focusing on adhesive, cosmetic and implant dentistry along with TMJ therapy and Dental Sleep Medicine. He is active in the Dallas County Dental Society serving in multiple positions and is currently on the Board of Advisors for the Pankey Institute. He graduated from Baylor College of Dentistry in 2006 followed by an AEGD residency in 2007. In his spare time he enjoys arguing with people over the internet. About Fellow Track: The Fellow Track program is a continuing education series created for dental school students to provide them with an early start on their progress toward the Fellowship in the AGD. The program topics are carefully selected to fit the interests and needs of the students. Students who join and participate in Fellow Track will enjoy free, student-oriented continuing education programs. By joining the Fellow Track program, students will begin earning continuing education hours toward their Fellowship. The college opened its doors in 1905, was affiliated with Baylor University from 1918 to 1971 and spent the next 25 years as an independent, private institution.
