Seeking Full Time Compact Tractor & Construction Equipment Shop Service Technician (Concord, NH) Chappell Tractor has an opening in our Service Department located in Concord, NH for a Shop Service Technician. The position involves preparing units for delivery and performing periodic service & maintenance, repairing equipment including engine, transmission, rear/front axle and hydraulic cylinder overhaul and diagnosing and repairing compact tractors, farm tractors and construction equipment in the shop. To be considered for this position, candidates must have prior experience working as a technician in a service department at an equipment, truck or automotive dealership. The ideal candidate will have graduated from a technical or vocational school and be knowledgeable with all major mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems found in this type of equipment. Having worked on gas engines, diesel engines and welding is a plus. Experienced in using laptop computers with the Manufacturers software applications to troubleshoot equipment problems is a requirement.
