Join us for the first viewing of Dressember Documentary Screening! Join us on November 4th for an early release of the Dressember Documentary, a short film designed to tell the story of Dressember and the impact we're making together. The video features Founder/CEO Blythe Hill talking about how a silly style challenge became a global movement to disrupt the $150 billion trafficking industry. Listen as Dressember advocates, staff members, and survivors bravely share their stories and articulate why advocacy matters. Finally, learn how you can be a part of ending exploitation for good. Together, we're fighting for the dignity of all people and showing the world that you can do anything in a dress. Sweet treats will be provided. We can't wait to see you there! Dressember is a global movement utilizing fashion and creativity to combat human trafficking from every angle. Our mission is to equip and empower individuals to advocate for the dignity of all people and our vision is a world where all are free. Each December we host a style challenge where men and women wear a dress or tie for 31 days. Advocates fundraise through the month of December, and since 2013, we've collectively raised over $13MM to fight human trafficking around the world. We approach human trafficking as an intersectional human rights issue recognizing that there are multiple overlapping forms of systemic oppression involved. To do this, we created the Dressember Network, which is comprised of 20 different organizations supporting programs in the following areas: advocacy, prevention, intervention, and survivor empowerment. When you support Dressember, you help dismantle trafficking holistically and in a way that prioritizes survivor needs and voices. enge where thousands of men and women commit to wearing either a dress or a tie every day in December as a way to raise money and awareness around the issue. It's a fun, easy way for even the busiest person to engage in having an impact on ending a horrifying injustice that occurs in every country in the world.
