The Terre Haute Women's Club invites you on a tasting trip around the world to benefit the "Shoe Bus Project" Pack your bags, the Terre Haute Women's Club is taking you on a trip AROUND THE WORLD! Guests will pick up a passport upon arrival at the ISU Hulman Center. From there, they will jet off to different countries around the concourse, tasting small bites + drink pairings and getting their passport stamped at each destination. We will end our trip at the glass atrium where guests can enjoy live entertainment, take their passport photos, grab a drink, pick up a cigar, check out our shoe bus, and much more! Our mission as a club is to serve children in need in Vigo County.   The Terre Haute Women's Club was founded in July 1971 by Scotty Terhune & Pat Derks.  Today we serve the children of Vigo County by providing grades K-12 with brand new athletic shoes through our "Shoe Bus Project".  Children are recommended by school nurses for new shoes.  Students receiving shoes also receive two pairs of new socks.  The club purchases all the shoes and some of the socks.  The shoes are then distributed through the use of a modified van that makes weekly "Shoe Bus Runs" to Vigo County schools. All proceeds from donations and our fundraisers solely benefit the "Shoe Bus" project.
