Our black labrador needs a new home

Description
Our wonderful dog Marlee needs to be rehomed. She is a 9 year old female black lab/retriever mix. Well-mannered, calm, and very obedient dog. Always comes when you call her. Well-behaved among many people and other dogs for camping vacations, hikes, and walks around the city. She's VERY gentle with children and doesn't steal food. Does jump on guests, just requests to be greeted with lots of petting. She rarely barks and when she does it's purposeful (usually alerting you that someone is in the front yard). This is usually reserved for the mail man/delivery trucks when she knows they're on her property. Marlee to be the only household animal. She loves playing fetch into water or on the ground. Loves to be petted. She is a cuddly dog and needs more attention than we can give her... She would love to be an indoor dog and close to her family throughout the day. Marlee is afraid of fireworks and loud explosions. She has panic attacks and does whatever she can to get to you if she hears a boom. This is usually an issue around New Years and Fourth of July holidays. In our current situation, this results in destructive behaviors since we cannot give her the attention she desires. Our neighbors set off fireworks late into the night year round, which has been very much a bother to her. She is currently struggling to heal from a torn ACL and the fireworks are not helping her heal. Without being present regularly, it is difficult to keep her calm for her to fully recover. She has a couple of small lumps on her side (common for labs) that were recently biopsied and determined to be cancerous. This has not affected her in any noticeable way even after having them for two or three years. Ideal situation would be someone who can give her indoor space, love, and attention on the main level of a house. We ask a small $50 as a rehoming fee to ensure she gets into a good home. We will provide for free her food/water bowls, leash, gentle lead, and a few weeks worth of food.
