The silks are accessible & transformative. This branch of yoga utilizes a fabric sling to allow students to experience supported postures. LIMIT OF SIX PARTICIPANTS - MUST HAVE 5 TO RUN THIS TRAINING Yoga Therapists AND Yoga Teachers CAN take this training ! There will be slightly differences in the last portion of the training for C-IAYTs and RYTs! Pre-registration required. TEN spots only. Minimum of 5 participants to this training! Yoga Teacher / Therapist Training using the Aerial Yoga Silks : "SILK THERAPEUTICS" LEVEL ONE This course can be used to fulfill yoga therapy or yoga alliance continuing education hours. HeartnSoul YTTS may use this as course as a required elective. The silks are accessible & transformative. This branch of yoga utilizes a fabric sling to allow students to experience supported postures, deep stretches, and strengthening sequences. THERAPEUTIC USES: Explore the many therapeutic uses of the hammocks ! Resting in the hammocks is a healing experience! Take this training and learn to provide an accessible experience to most levels of students. Use the silks to build awareness and strength with grace, ease and creativity ! The focus and awareness is deeply healing in many levels ! in an inspiring practice suitable for all levels. This training takes us DEEPER into the use of the silks for working with specific postures and movements to assist in the relief of conditions such as : -sensory integration -ADD and ADHD -autism -back pain -neck pain -kyphosis and lordosis of the spinal curves -and much more !!!! NOTE: It is not within our scope of practice to diagnose!
