Paint Mini Pumpkins the family night before! Every Wednesday is family night at the Lenexa Public Market! Come get a bite to eat and hang out with your family. This week, in the spirit of Halloween sign up to paint mini pumpkins! We'll provide the pumpkins, and supplies to paint & decorate, and you get to have all the fun! Your pumpkin is yours to take home with you afterwards. $5 per pumpkin. You MUST sign up ahead of time in order to paint mini pumpkins. Only 25 spots available. Registration deadline: Wednesday, Oct. 27 at Noon. Costumes are encouraged, but keep in mind painting could be messy! Pumpkin painting will take place outside on the patio. In the case of inclement weather it will be moved inside. There will also be the free regular weekly family-oriented festivities: sidewalk chalk, coloring pages & corn hole. Specials: Enjoy the Family night special at Topp'd Pizza & Salads: Get a free 6" kid's pizza with the purchase of at least a small pizza. Family night is free to attend but a few of the rotating activities require pre-registration & purchase of tickets. Family night is sponsored by Mainstreet Credit Union. Also happening on the campus that day: Halloween themed family friendly spooky movement 5:30 to 6:30 p.m. on the upper commons with the Lenexa Rec Center. 15 minute increments, free and open to public. Halloween Hunt Oct. 27 - 31 across the City campus co-hosted by the Rec center and the Lenexa Public Market. The Lenexa Public Market is an indoor food hall and marketplace near 87th Street Parkway and I-435 at Lenexa City Center. It features a variety of merchants that offer fresh foods and locally sourced products. The Market is a dynamic place where the community connects around food, and local entrepreneurs have an opportunity to launch and grow a business. Register for an upcoming cooking class!
