This class covers how to care for and grow a healthy tree, as well as how to properly prune a peach or nectarine tree.
University of Nevada Cooperative Extension is an outreach arm of the University that extends unbiased, research-based knowledge to local communities. Educational programs and projects are developed based on local needs in partnership with other agencies and volunteers.
Master Gardener, Yutaka Nomura will teach you how to care for your trees, how to keep them healthy and how to prune for best fruit production. Part of class instruction will be indoors and part will be outdoors where the demonstration of the basic pruning techniques particular to peach and nectarine trees will take place.
