Learn to become a dungeon master at the Dungeon so you too can lead great adventures in the many worlds of Dungeons and Dragons. If you've ever wanted to learn how to become a dungeon master for D&D so you could one day run your own campaign, boy howdy, do we have the class for you. Introducing at Darby's Dungeon: Learn to DM !! (not a sex thing) This is an exciting course that will teach you the fundamentals of how to run a campaign in Dungeons and Dragons 5E, as well as plan fun and exciting encounters for your party members to overcome. This course will be over four weeks, starting on the first Friday of the month, and ending on the fourth Wednesday (see below for more clarification). Course outline: - Week one: covering the fundamental basics of what it means to be a dungeon master, along with reference tools to get you started - Week two and three: how to interpret, plan, and execute a module from any of the adventure books that D&D 5E offers, and how to plan your own custom adventure - Week four: running your own one-shot (previously planned and discussed in the prior weeks) for a group of five players. This will not be held on the usual Friday night class, but instead on the upcoming Wednesday. Course includes: - a campaign packet produced by the store - set of dice and a dice bag - 10% off coupon for the Dungeon Master's Guide and Monster Manual This four week course will get you started on the road to becoming a DM, giving you all the useful tips and tricks to help you run your own adventure, as well as introduce you to a large community of players who are looking for a DM.
