Seeking Stretch Tent Installer (Crew Member) Pop Productions is a creative studio specializing in custom stretch tents, immersive spaces and bespoke décor dedicated to delivering superior service to clients. Our rapidly growing small business, serving large-scale festivals and events across the country is expanding fast, and we are looking to hire strong, reliable and ambitious talent! We are hosting a training day in Rothbury, MI on Wednesday, November 3rd for those interested in joining our team for the 2022 festival circuit. Recruiting regional help for demo & training purposes in the near term, with the opportunity to work and travel to multiple job sites in the long-term. POSITION SUMMARY Execute the proper and safe installation & breakdown of tents per company specifications. MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES • Participate in the safe installation and proper maintenance of tents, gear and all other rental equipment per company policy • Follow direction from crew lead for set up/take down during installation • Inspect tent for proper assembly • Maintain the cleanliness of storage and work areas • Handle tools & operation equipment safely • Check weather conditions prior to & during installation • Inspect tent for proper assembly • Install anchors (stakes / concrete weights) uniformly as required • If applicable, install all other rented accessories per layout • Monitor tent job after installation and adjust per weather conditions • Repair minor tears, etc. on-site or tag for repair • Inspect tent and accessories for damages before removing • Assist in proper teardown to ensure that everything is returned to inventory • Communicate with supervisors; reporting any safety issues or equipment issues in a timely manner This list of tasks is illustrative only, and is not a comprehensive list of all functions and tasks performed on site. DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS • A background in construction and/or tent assembly highly desirable • Ability to lift heavy objects up to 50 pounds • Ability to exercise precaution in the handling of tools & equipment • Ability to apply a sense of urgency to meet deadlines & accomplish objectives • Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions • High School Diploma/ GED • Applicant must be based in the US and willing to travel to various seasonal job locations.
