Press release from the City of New Berlin: October 19, 2021 Mayor Dave Ament will conduct the City's Annual Veterans Day Ceremony on Thursday November 11, 2021 at 7:00 p.m. in the Council Chambers at New Berlin City Hall, 3805 S Casper Drive. The ceremony will include participation from the New Berlin Hoeppner Horn Bros. VFW Post 5716, the American Legion Post #488 and the New Berlin Community Band.  U.S. Navy Veteran Mike Nowak will also be personally honored for his years of military and community service.  In addition, Dr. Arthur Angove will be presented with the 2021 Citizen of the Year Award.  Furthermore, street light pole banners will be presented to the servicemen and/or their families who participated in our Celebrate Our Local Military Heroes initiative.
