Description

MARBLEHEAD, MA — Marblehead officials will host a public forum on Monday to share and discuss the results of the town's Local Rapid Recovery Plan report on helping businesses rebound from the coronavirus crisis. The forum will be at 11 a.m. with residents invited to ask questions and offer comments. The final report and online event registration link can be found here. Marblehead was one of a select few towns in the state participating in the plan to use state funding to execute projects that can have an immediate impact on local pandemic recovery efforts. Officials focused the town's efforts to help businesses in the district of Atlantic Avenue and Pleasant Street. The plan was developed in coordination with municipal officials, stakeholder input, a public forum and a survey of Marblehead residents. It includes a data analysis as well as an exploration of challenges, barriers, strategies and actions that can be taken. Did you find this article useful? Invite a friend to subscribe to Patch.
