Year Round Full Time Facility Maintenance Needed

Heartland Storage is a growing company seeking a dependable and hardworking individual to fill our year-round, full-time, facility maintenance position. We currently have over a dozen self storage facilities in Southwest Missouri. The maintenance manager would be responsible for general repairs of storage units as well as exterior building repairs. Overview of position: Handling all maintenance requests (door repair, leak repair, light plumbing, minor electrical work). Receive assignments and travel to different facilities to make needed repairs or perform preventative maintenance. Communicate frequently with Regional and Facilities Manager. Replace parts or install new equipment when appropriate. Paint, stain, and make drywall repairs and installations, including the construction of new walls and partitions when appropriate. Use ladders, lifts and other types of equipment to access areas requiring repair or maintenance. Perform other duties as required/assigned. Job requirements: Reliable, conscientious, detail-oriented, self motivated. Ability to work independently with strong time management skills. Must have knowledge in carpentry, commercial gates and their operating systems, as well as garage door functions. Possession of a valid Driver's License with a clean driving record. Minimum of 2 years general construction experience or job related experience. Forklift certification a plus Starting rate is $14/hr.
